Southwestern Illinois College Allied Health Program: Questions and Answers

Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology, Health Information Technology, Nursing Education, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Technology and Respiratory Care Technology are Allied Health programs offered by Southwestern. An explanation of each program and the application and selection process of each health field will be offered.

Southwestern Illinois College Dual Credit Program

(Not Available Until Spring 2009)

SWIC's Dual Credit program allows high school students 16 years of age and older to earn high school and college credit simultaneously while attending the identified course in their high school classroom. The high school instructor meets the college's minimum instructor requirements and the course is taught as a college level course. There is NO COST to the student and the high school for this program ­ a true Win/Win program.
